When I first began writing what would eventually become The Seventh Silence, I had no intention of creating a novel. My original purpose was far more methodical, more systematic in my usual style —I was developing a detailed spiritual training manual, a step-by-step guide for the kind of profound transformation that I had witnessed in my own life and in the lives of countless humans who had found the courage to break free from the constraints that society, family, and their own conditioning had placed upon them.
