Neighbours in the table are not always neighbours in space, and neighbours in nature are often split by the width of a period. The table tells us what the elements are. It does not tell us where they sit in any geometric sense.

I studied brain rhythms, heart-rate variability, and the Schumann cavity of the Earth. A single pattern kept returning: the world is not a heap of parts. It is one field, locally organised.

Nicolas Brett is a South African author and researcher whose work explores loyalty, suppressed truths, and the human cost of silence. Drawing on his background as an entrepreneur and tribunal administrator, he blends authentic grit with literary depth. His debut novella Unopened examines brotherhood, war, and hidden love, bringing raw realism and emotional resonance to themes of identity, memory, and legacy. Brett’s voice bridges lived experience with universal reflection.
